The Challenge

This video is about how to Fix the Formatting for Outlook.com Signatures. Outlook signatures have gone completely mad, making HTML signatures impossible to use. Copying from an email doesn’t work and it’s a mess. So I have created this video to show you a very simple way to fix the formatting for Signatures.

The Solution

1. First, make any updates to your signature HTML file in a text editor such as NotePad++ (if needed). Make sure you are happy with the formatting by opening the HTML file in your browser while updating the HTML file in the text editor.

2. Make sure to open the HTML file or drag it to your browser. You simply open the HTML signature file in your browser (I use Firefox).

3. In the browser window, right-click and Select All and then drag the selected signature into the open online Outlook Email Signature Editor window. Check it looks ok and press Save. You are done. The formatting then kept correctly and you can save and write new emails with the correct signature formatting!

Millions of people have this same problem and so I had enough and created this video as they still have not fixed this problem by for example allowing you to upload your HTML file or copying and pasting correctly from another email etc.

Enjoy making your perfect email signature and edit and tweak it. While easily keeping the formatting by my method seen in this video.
