Started a training project today and this is what I found

Today I have started a new little project just for training. I have learned more about camera tracking. I filmed my own video (hand-held) and then tried various software for tracking. I’m learning how to import tracking data into Houdini 11, creating a new camera, positioning objects and importing image sequence as background etc.

What I want to do next is to create a character animation of a character jumping between the tables in the scene, then light, render and composite everything inside Houdini . The goal of this is to learn more about camera tracking and using this in houdini 11, character animation in Houdini, lighting, Mantra rendering and compositing all in Houdini 11. I think this will give me some valuable experience for the future.

I’ve now setup everything and positioned the character and now I am ready to get started trying out character animation in Houdini.
