Looking for a solid alternative to Vimeo or YouTube for hosting your videos!

I’ve been a loyal Vimeo user and customer for many years, but recent changes have made it less appealing:

They are now removing many key features for all UK and EU customers while still raising prices. Not cool, right?

They have also introduced a new storage limitation. Previously, users could upload up to 5GB each month. Now, I discovered they have capped the total storage capacity at 250GB. I’ve already used around 120GB. This new limit essentially turns Vimeo into a restricted cloud storage (file cabinet) service, even for paying customers. Constant updates that keeps making it worse.

YouTube isn’t a great option for professionals either, with ads everywhere. Plus, you need to be a premium customer to even allow video downloads etc.

So, what professional alternatives are you using to host videos on your website and social platforms? Let’s hear your recommendations instead of Vimeo or YouTube. Especially when it comes hosting your videos for your portfolio, your website, and delivery of client videos etc.

And also, if you use Vimeo, let’s put some pressure on Vimeo to sort out their recent totally unfair treatment of UK and EU customers, storage caps and other restrictions.
