3D Practice: Houdini 11 – Mantra Rendering

Posted on Thursday, 25 November 2010

Today I have been studying Maya 11 Mantra rendering and lighting today and created these images in the process. I used Environment Light and Sky Environment Map, some available geometry, Mantra Physically Based Rendering, F-Stop 64, Tile Size 32, Max Ray Samples 20, Reflect and Refract Limit 20, 640×480 resolution (Apprentice Version).

Some post colour correction etc. Next, I want to learn Mantra more in-depth. I’ve decided to focus on Houdini 11, Mantra and put all the other training and software to the side for a while. Did a 2nd render from above with some different colour adjustments.
